DESIGN ATTRIBUTES

STRUCTURE

The SMT-600 features a robust structural frame made from high-grade aluminum alloy, offering excellent strength while keeping the machine lightweight and portable. All mechanical components are precision-machined, ensuring long-lasting performance and reliable alignment throughout extended use. The design is compact, making it suitable for workshops and outdoor job sites alike.

CUTTING SYSTEM

At the core of the machine is an injector-type oxy-acetylene torch, designed to deliver clean and efficient cuts. The torch is mounted on a rack and pinion system that allows smooth vertical adjustment, enabling the operator to maintain the correct torch-to-material distance. A magnetic roller wheel traces the metal template, guiding the torch precisely along complex shapes or circular patterns.

ELECTRONICS

The SMT-600 is powered by a 24V DC stepper motor that drives the cutting mechanism with high precision. Control is facilitated through a user-friendly panel mounted on the machine, which includes a rotary speed controller, direction switch (forward/reverse), and status indicators. This electronic system allows smooth acceleration, reliable speed consistency, and easy adjustments during cutting operations.

BASE & SUPPORT

The machine is supported by a stable base constructed from mild steel, offering excellent durability and load-bearing capacity. It includes a tripod-style adjustable support system with fine-threaded leveling knobs for precise alignment. This setup allows the operator to securely position the machine on uneven or sloped surfaces.
